A digital dictionary for the Blackfoot language

Inge Genee and Don Frantz (both U Lethbridge) successfully applied for an Insight Grant with SSHRC back in 2014, which enabled a whole team of researchers headed by them to create an online comprehensive lexicographic database for Blackfoot (based on Frantz & Russell 1995, the second edition of the Blackfoot Dictionary of Stems, Roots and Affixes published by University of Toronto Press) that is to made available widely via print, internet browsers and iOS and Android apps. The original team was composed by Fernando Zúñiga (U Bern), Mizuki Miyashita (U Montana), Marie-Odile Junker (Carleton U), Nicole Rosen (U Manitoba), Dan O'Donnell (U Lehtbridge), and several graduate and undergraduate students, as well as Blackfoot speakers. Fernando Zúñiga collaborated in this project during 2015 and 2016.
